Beverly and I took out the camaro and joined 19 other muscle car owners on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The Mission: Drive the country side and enjoy the changing of the leaves - a time honored fall event here in Michigan. We stopped at a country park, an apple cider mill and as you can see above, a '60s style drive-in.
The event lasted six hours and covered almost 100 miles. We're happy to report the camaro was flawless, well except for the stuck gas gauge that almost got us in trouble.
We hit our goal this year of making the car streetable, but missed on getting it to goes 10s in that trim. After the fun we had on the color tour, we have no interest in giving up streetability to go faster. Hopefully there will be more cubes in the camaros future.
