Camaro Goes 10s

A rainout at US131 Motorsports Park gave us plenty of time to make some changes, here's the list:

  • New Edelbrock oval port aluminum heads - we lost 1.2 points of compression, but the flow more than made up for it. Now at just over 10-1, we're able to run pump gas.
  • New Edelbrock Victor jr intake
  • New 3" K&N air cleaner w/ x-stream lid
  • New Holley 1/2" open carb spacer
  • Installed our old flowed Holley 850
  • New Koni SPA-1 drag shocks on the front
  • Adjusted rear Rancho shocks to "5"

"Solid" 10 second pass.

Adding 3 degrees of timing picked the car up a tenth and lead to the pass above.

Can't say enough about how the Koni shocks helped the car from launch to finish line.

Seconds before almost wrecking - our buddy Kirk Binder had trouble with his front suspension, crossed the center line and just missed the Camaro. Nice wheelstand though.
